1. Application
These Terms govern your use of Toollet, provided by its operator. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Please contact us through the contact form.
2. Service
Toollet provides tools to convert, edit, compare, generate and process video, audio, documents, PDFs, images and other data. Supported formats, processing methods, usage conditions, storage and transmission are described on each screen.
Features and conditions may change for reasonable reasons, including improvements, security, legal requirements and changes to external services. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means.
3. Current free service
Ordinary tools are currently free, with no subscription purchase, recurring charge or required advertising view. They do not require a Toollet login. External services you choose, such as Google Drive, may require their own authentication.
If paid plans or advertising are introduced, their conditions will be shown before they take effect, and these Terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated as needed. Free use will not become a paid contract or incur automatic charges without your explicit purchase action.
4. Accounts
If you use an account, provide accurate information and manage your credentials and sessions appropriately. Do not transfer or lend your account to another person. Promptly contact the operator if you discover unauthorized use or a security problem.
5. Your files and content
You must have the rights or authorization needed to process, transmit, save or publish the content you provide. You retain rights in your content.
You authorize the operator to copy, transmit, temporarily store, convert and otherwise handle content only as needed for the processing, storage or publication you choose. This authorization ends when the operation and stated retention period end, except where law or legitimate security or dispute handling requires otherwise.
6. Prohibited conduct
Do not:
- Break laws or infringe another person's rights.
- Process illegally obtained data or unlawful content.
- Send malware or other harmful data.
- Access the service, accounts or external providers without authorization.
- Improperly bypass or manipulate limits, authentication or security.
- Create excessive load that disrupts other users or service operation.
- Engage in other conduct the operator reasonably determines to be inappropriate.
7. External services
Authentication, cloud-file connections and analytics may use external services. Their terms and privacy policies may apply when you select or use them. Outages, changes and other circumstances outside the operator's control may make related features unavailable.
8. Results and backups
Results can depend on file structures, codecs, fonts, browsers and device resources. Keep important originals and check outputs before using them for legal, accounting, filing, archival or other important purposes.
9. Restrictions and suspension
The operator may restrict processing, accounts or access as reasonably necessary to address violations, unlawful activity, abuse, malware, security risks or legal requirements. Some or all of the service may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, failures, external-service outages, force majeure, security or legal compliance.
10. Intellectual property
Rights in Toollet itself, its interface, text, software and other materials belong to the operator or their legitimate rights holders. These Terms do not transfer rights beyond the expressly permitted use.
11. Warranties and liability
The operator provides the service with reasonable care but does not guarantee perfect results for every file, format, browser or device, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability or freedom from errors.
Except for liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, liability is limited to a reasonable scope of actual, ordinary and direct damages. The operator is not responsible beyond the scope required by law for harm caused by a user's intent or negligence, violations of these Terms, third-party services or the user's environment.
12. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may change to reflect laws or the service. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means before their effective date.
If paid plans are offered, an explicit purchase action will be required, with the price, currency, taxes and mandatory fees, duration, renewal, cancellation and refund conditions displayed before ordering.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Japanese law. Unless otherwise required by law, the Tokyo Summary Court is the agreed court of first instance for disputes concerning the service. This does not limit mandatory rights under the laws applicable where you reside.
