Package Lottie with images
Add Lottie JSON, .lottie or ZIP and their referenced images, check the matches, then package them into one .lottie. Deliver one selected animation with its assets. Image dimensions and quality remain unchanged, and you can check the created animation's motion before saving.
What you can do
Combine images & animation in one file
Store the images referenced by Lottie JSON together with the animation in .lottie.
Check asset matches
Match reference names to images on your device. If images are missing or multiple candidates have the same name, confirm the matches before creating the file.
Play & save the created file
The generated .lottie is loaded again for preview. Check the images and motion, then download that file.
How to use
Add JSON & images
Add Lottie JSON and the required images. You can also add them together as a folder or ZIP.
Check image matches
Check the assets matching each reference. Add missing images, and choose the image to use if there are multiple candidates.
Create .lottie
Check the images and motion in the preview, then select “Create .lottie file”. If there are multiple animations, the one you select is created.
Check the result & save
Once the generated file's preview is displayed, check its content and select “Download” to save it.
Useful for
Deliver animations with their assets
Bundle animation JSON and images into one .lottie instead of delivering them separately.
Publish animations that use images
Prepare a file containing the required images to embed in a .lottie-compatible site or app.
Delivering Lottie with images
Reference names & local images
Check assets matching the image names and paths in the JSON. If multiple candidates have the same name, choose the one to use. Images are not fetched automatically from external URLs.
.lottie & JSON with embedded images
.lottie is a package format that stores animations and assets. Use “Embed images in Lottie JSON” to encode images as strings and include them in the JSON.
The destination player
Check whether the destination supports .lottie. Checking the display on this page does not guarantee identical playback in every player.
Image appearance & preview settings
Image dimensions and compression quality are not changed. Playback speed, background and looping are for preview only and do not affect the saved motion or assets.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if required images are missing?
The relevant reference is displayed and creation stops. Add images from your device. Missing images are not fetched or generated automatically.
I have multiple images with the same name.
Select an image for each reference. Check the folder paths and previews to match the intended images.
Can I create Lottie from images alone?
No. You need Lottie JSON with motion defined. This tool packages that animation and its referenced images.
Can I save multiple animations together?
This page saves the one animation you select. Use “Bundle Lottie animations in one file” to package multiple animations while keeping them separate.
Can I create files containing themes or interactive states?
This feature cannot handle them. Being able to preview basic motion does not mean output can be created while preserving advanced settings. Export basic Lottie and add it here.
