Random draws
Randomly draw a specified number of names or items from a list. Choose event winners or assign duties, check the conditions for duplicate entries and repeat winners, then copy or save the selected results.
What you can do
Select only the number you need
Enter one candidate per line and specify the number of winners. Use the random order tool if you want to set an order for everyone.
Choose how identical-name rows are handled
The setting to combine identical rows into 1 entry is ON by default. When OFF, each entered row is treated as a separate draw entry.
Specify whether repeat wins are allowed
Choose whether the same entry can win again. By default, the same entry is not selected again within a single draw.
How to use
Enter candidates and the number of winners
Paste one candidate per line and specify the number of winners to draw.
Change advanced settings only if needed
Open this if you want identical-name rows to be separate entries or want to select the same entry repeatedly.
Draw and get the results
Press the draw button and check the winners. Copy results as a table, CSV, or text, or save them as a text file.
Useful when
Choose presenters or people in charge
Use it to choose a specified number of presenters or people to take responsibility from the candidates for this occasion.
Choose winners for an event
Check the draw entries and number of winners, then choose multiple winners at once.
The difference between duplicate inputs and repeat wins
Combine identical rows
When ON, identical content becomes 1 entry. To distinguish different people with the same name, add their affiliation or a number.
Allow the same entry to win again
When ON, the same entry may appear multiple times in the same draw result. Even when OFF, results may contain the same name if separate entries have identical names.
Frequently asked questions
Can I choose multiple winners?
You can specify the number of winners to draw. The maximum is the number of entries if repeat wins are not allowed, or 1,000 if they are allowed.
Can I prevent the same person from winning twice?
In advanced settings, turn “Combine identical rows into one entry” ON and “Allow the same entry to win again” OFF. The tool does not identify the same person entered under different names.
Are previous winners excluded when I draw again?
No. The repeat-win setting applies within a single draw. Drawing again selects from all current candidates again.
