Features

Select one from your options

Enter options such as lunches or destinations, then spin. Select one from the unique options with an equal probability for each.

Check the result on the wheel and in text

Check the stopping position and the option name shown in the result field. Even long names are fully readable in the result field.

Keep the selected result

Copy and share the selected option name or save it as a text file.

How to use

  1. Enter options

Enter one option per line. Blank lines and leading and trailing whitespace are removed, and lines with the same content are combined into one.

  2. Spin the roulette

Check the option count and run the spin. When rotation ends, the selected option appears in the result field.

  3. Copy and save the result

Keep the result by copying it or saving as .txt if needed. Spinning again performs another draw including the same options.

Useful for

Choose today's lunch

List several foods you want to eat and use the draw as a way to choose one option.

Choose the next topic for an event

Select and display what to do next from your prepared topics or game options.

Counting options and spinning again

The same content counts as one option

Blank lines are removed, leading and trailing whitespace is trimmed from each line, and duplicates are combined. Entering the same option on many lines does not make it more likely to be selected.

Probability of each option

With 4 unique options, each has a 25% chance; with 5, each has a 20% chance. The spinning animation does not change the probabilities. The same option may be selected consecutively.

Input changes and the previous result

Changing the options clears the previous result. Spinning again does not exclude options; it performs another selection from the same list.

Reduced motion settings

If reduced motion is enabled on your device or browser, the result is displayed without waiting for the spinning animation.

Frequently asked questions

Does entering the same option on multiple lines make it more likely to be selected?

No. Lines with the same content are combined into 1 entry. To treat them as different people or options, add distinguishing information such as a number.

Can I select multiple people at once?

The roulette selects 1 entry per spin. To draw multiple options together, use “Random draw”.

Is a selected option removed from the next draw?

They are not removed automatically. Each spin selects one option from the same list again, so the same result may occur consecutively.

How many options can I enter?

Up to 100 lines excluding blank lines, with up to 100 characters per line. Duplicate lines also count toward the input limit.

Are long option names displayed in full?

Long names may be shortened on the wheel. Full names are visible in the input field and draw results, and copies and saved files also include the full names.
