What you can do
Compare 24 candidates against preferred hours
Review 24 UTC candidates from 00:00 to 23:00, ranked by the number of matching regions. Ties are ordered by earliest time.
Review local dates and times
Select a candidate to check each region’s date, time to the second, UTC offset and whether it falls within preferred hours.
Obtain the selected candidate’s times
Copy local dates and times for the selected candidate together. Save two or more regions as world-times.txt.
How to use
Choose a UTC date and regions
Enter the UTC date to search and choose 1–8 participating regions. “Today (UTC)” fills in the current UTC date.
Enter preferred hours
Enter shared preferred local hours as HH:MM. The default is 09:00–18:00. Only the end can be 24:00.
Find and select candidates
Select “Find meeting times” to review the highest-ranked candidate. Choose another candidate to compare local times and regions outside preferred hours.
Share the times being reviewed
Copy or save the selected candidate’s times. Selecting a candidate does not book a meeting or send invitations.
When it helps
Narrow down an international meeting time
Find start times that fall within preferred hours in several regions before sharing possible meeting times.
Compare candidates when not everyone fits
When preferred hours do not overlap in all regions, compare matching region counts and local times for each candidate.
Reading meeting candidates
Candidate dates use UTC
Candidates cover 00:00–23:00 at one-hour intervals on the chosen UTC date. A candidate’s local date can differ by region, so check dates and times together.
Start included, end excluded
For 09:00–18:00, 09:00 is within the range and 18:00 is outside it. Matching uses each region’s local time in minutes. The preferred range cannot cross midnight.
All 24 candidates remain available
Candidates with more matching regions appear first. Ties are ordered by earliest UTC time. Even when no candidate fits all regions, all candidates remain visible with the best matching count.
Duration and calendar availability are not checked
Only meeting start times are compared. Duration, holidays, calendar availability, different hours per region and late-night scoring are not included. Selecting a candidate does not confirm a booking.
Daylight saving and device data
Local dates and times are calculated using the browser’s time-zone rules. Offsets of 30 or 45 minutes are preserved. Check local notices for recent rule changes or future dates.
Frequently asked questions
What if no candidate fits everyone’s preferred hours?
All 24 candidates are displayed. Check the best matching count and local times, including regions outside preferred hours, to compare your options.
Does selecting a candidate book a meeting?
No. Selection only lets you review local times. No invitations are sent and no calendar integration is used.
Do old candidates remain after changing settings?
Changing the date, participating regions or preferred hours clears the previous candidates and selected times. Merely choosing a region to add does not clear them.
Can the end time be 24:00?
Yes. Only 24:00 is allowed in the 24th hour, and it cannot be the start. A range of 00:00–24:00 includes every local time in that region.
