What you can do
Compare current local dates and times
Display the local date and time to the second in 1–8 regions. Clocks update every second while the page is visible.
Check UTC offsets and preferred hours
See each region’s UTC offset and whether its current local time falls within the shared preferred hours.
Copy or save current times together
Copy the displayed dates and times together. Save two or more regions as world-times.txt.
How to use
Choose regions to display
Clocks start updating when you open the page. Add the regions you need and remove those you do not.
Set a reference and preferred hours
Choose the reference region for time differences in the original text. Adjust preferred hours from the default 09:00–18:00 if needed.
Review and obtain local times
Check each region’s date and time. Copying or saving uses the displayed times at the moment you obtain them.
When it helps
Before contacting an overseas team
Check the other region’s current time and whether its date is ahead or behind before making contact.
Share current times across offices
Copy local dates and times together to include in a message or status update.
Reading the world clock
One moment, different local dates
The world clock shows the same moment in each region. Dates are displayed alongside times so you can check date changes across time zones.
UTC offsets can change during the year
Regions using daylight saving can have different UTC offsets at different times of year. Offsets of 30 or 45 minutes are displayed without rounding. Rules come from the browser’s time-zone data.
Live display and captured times
Clocks update every second while the page is visible, pause updates when hidden, and refresh when you return. Copied text and saved files keep the times captured; they do not update with the clocks.
Preferred hours are a shared guide
The same local-time range applies to every region. The start is included and the end is excluded. This does not check holidays, personal calendars or whether someone is working.
