Audio merger

Add music or recording files, set their order and the range to use from each, and join them into a single audio file. When combining separately recorded narration or background music, you can set crossfades at the joins and fades at the beginning and end as needed, listen to the merged result, and save it. The final duration is shorter than the total by the amount of time overlapped.

You can also drag and drop to add files

Choose the audio files you want to join.

What you can do

Adjust the order and ranges

Add multiple audio files and choose the range to use and the order of each file.

Make joins sound natural

Use crossfade to overlap the audio slightly, and add fades at the beginning and end.

How to use

  1. Add audio

Select the audio files you want to join. They appear in the list in the order you add them.

  2. Check the order and ranges

Reorder using the up and down buttons, and select the part of each audio file to use in “Edit range”.

  3. Listen to the joins

If needed, specify crossfade and fades in advanced settings, then listen to the joined result.

  4. Save as one audio file

Join the audio and download the completed file.

When to use it

Combine separately recorded voices

Arrange explanations or narration in sequence and use them as one recording.

Join the parts of tracks you need

Select only the ranges you want and combine them into audio assets such as background music.

About order, ranges, and joins

Join audio in sequence

Create a file that plays the audio in list order from top to bottom. This feature does not overlay multiple entire audio sources simultaneously.

Specify the range for each audio file

The start and end times are measured from the beginning of each original file. Other audio files remain included in the join while you edit a range.

Crossfade overlap duration

The final duration is shorter than the sum of the tracks by the amount of overlap at the joins. The overlap is limited to half the duration of the shorter of the neighboring audio files.

Fades at the beginning and end

Fade-in applies to the first audio file, and fade-out to the last. These are separate settings from crossfade.

Frequently asked questions

Can I specify the range to use for each track?

Yes. Specify the start and end in “Edit range” for each audio file, and you can listen to the selected range.

Can I adjust the joins between tracks?

In advanced settings, crossfade lets you specify how many seconds the joins overlap. At 0 seconds, the tracks join without overlap.

Does changing the order change the final duration?

The actual crossfade duration may change depending on the lengths of neighboring audio files. Check the estimated duration after reordering them.
