Audio speed changer
Add a conversation or music file and adjust playback speed from 0.5× to 3× while preserving pitch. For language listening or music practice, compare the original and modified audio and save the changed speed to an audio file. Playback duration also changes with speed. When saving as M4R, keep the duration after changes within 40 seconds.

Difference between playback speed and pitch
Speed multiplier and playback duration
At 0.5×, the duration is about 2 times as long; at 2×, it is about half as long. The displayed duration is an estimate calculated by dividing the selected range by the multiplier.
Preserve the pitch of voices or music
Changing speed and changing pitch are separate processes. To adjust the pitch of voices or music, use Audio pitch changer.
Listen to the result before saving
The sound varies with the source audio and amount of change. If you make a large adjustment, also check that voices and instruments sound natural.
Frequently asked questions
Does speeding up audio also change the pitch of voices?
Uses processing that changes speed while preserving pitch. The sound varies with the source audio and speed multiplier, so listen to the modified audio.
Can I save a file at the changed speed?
Yes. You can create an audio file with the speed multiplier applied, rather than only listening faster temporarily in the player.
Can I return to the original speed?
Reset to 1× restores the original speed setting. The original file is not overwritten.
