About segments and fades
Times are positions in the original audio
The start and end are seconds from the beginning of the loaded audio. The selected duration becomes the duration of the saved audio.
Fades apply to the selected segment
Gradually increase the volume at the start and decrease it at the end. Restoring the full range lets you apply only fades without trimming.
M4R is limited to 40 seconds
“Limit to 40 seconds for a ringtone” in advanced settings shortens the end while keeping the start position, and switches the format to M4R.
Frequently asked questions
Can I preview only the range I need?
Yes. You can preview only the selected segment in both the original audio and the audio with fades applied.
Can I add only fades without trimming?
Press “Restore full range” and specify fade durations in seconds in advanced settings.
Can I also change the volume or speed?
Use the dedicated tools to change volume, speed, or pitch.
