Quality and saving
Image quality and file size
Lower JPG quality can reduce file size, but may introduce artifacts around text and other edges. Review the image before saving.
Adjusting image detail
Higher resolution increases the pixels used to render each page. It does not add detail to the original photos embedded in the PDF.
Extracting photos is a separate task
This tool renders the whole page. Use Extract images from PDF to take out embedded photos without surrounding text and margins.
