Useful for

Set dimensions for social media or web publishing

Match the width and height required by the publishing destination, check how the video looks, and save it.

Adjust to the resolution for presentation materials

Adjust a video for a presentation to the dimensions you want to display.

Dimensions, aspect ratio, and appearance when enlarged

Width and height are screen pixel counts

Output a video at the specified dimensions. Lock the current aspect ratio to change width and height together.

A different aspect ratio produces padding or cropping

Fitting the entire video adds padding, while filling the frame crops some of the edges. Check that the content you need remains visible.

Enlargement does not add original detail

Enlarging the dimensions of a small video does not restore details missing from the original. Changes in quality and file size depend on the material and save settings.
