Add text or narration

Layer images, explanations, background music or audio onto a video to communicate your message.

The timeline and different ways to save

Timeline placement and source range

Timeline placement determines where an item appears in the finished video. The item’s start and end specify which part of the original video or audio is used.

Fit the whole item or fill the frame

Fit shows the entire item, with margins if the aspect ratio differs. Fill removes margins, but may crop the edges of the item.

Exporting video and saving work

Export creates a video for playback or sharing. Saving a project lets you reopen your edits, and may require choosing the original media again.
