How to choose a screen and audio to record

Available screens depend on the browser

Screens, windows, and tabs are selected in the browser. Recording cannot be started on devices or browsers where this feature is unavailable.

Microphone and screen audio are separate

The microphone captures speech; screen audio is sound from the shared source. Screen audio may not be available depending on the source or browser. Do not assume audio was recorded just because the setting is on; check its status before starting and play back the recording afterward.

Saving and additional editing are separate

Save the recording as it is, or pass it to the video editor to add text or background music. Keeping the original recording lets you redo conversion or editing.
