Convert VTT to SRT
Choose one UTF-8 WebVTT subtitle file and convert it to SRT for delivery or editing software. Review the text and start and end times, optionally check how it appears with a local video, then save a UTF-8 subtitle file. Before creating it, the tool warns about extra information that SRT cannot retain, such as positioning, display settings and cue IDs.
What you can do
Save in SRT for delivery
Load a VTT file and save it in the selected SRT format. You can also change the save format.

If the VTT contains positioning, cue IDs or other extra information, a warning explains before creation that SRT will not retain it.
How to use it

Choose one VTT file. It is read as UTF-8.
Review the contents and save format
Review the subtitle text and timings, and check that SRT is selected for saving. Read any warning about extra information.

What SRT retains and what it cannot retain
Text and start and end times are preserved
Line breaks in the subtitle text are preserved. Cues are renumbered from 1 in output order.
WebVTT-specific settings cannot be transferred
Header metadata, notes, cue IDs, positioning and display settings are not saved in SRT. Keep the original VTT if you need this information.
