Using the icon set on your site

The difference between ICO and PNG

An ICO can store images in multiple sizes. This tool's ICO always includes 16×16 and 32×32. PNGs are created individually in the selected sizes.

How small icons look

Text that is readable in a large source image may be difficult to recognize at 16px or other small sizes. Check each generated size.

Image locations and HTML paths

The configuration examples assume placement at the site root. For another location, update both the HTML href and manifest src accordingly.

The manifest is an icon configuration example

Created when 192px or 512px is selected. This does not complete the configuration of the entire web app.
