HEIC to PNG

What conversion changes & what it keeps
File size may increase depending on the photo
Converting from HEIC to PNG does not guarantee smaller files. Check the resulting file size and the submission destination's limit.

This purpose saves the first image. This is separate from settings that save animation or multiple images together.

What if I cannot see a photo immediately after adding HEIC?
This format requires loading or decoding. Check the filename and view the result in the preview after conversion.
Does converting to PNG improve image quality?
It does not add details absent from the original photo. This conversion changes the format so the image can be used in more environments.
Should I use PNG to reduce photo file size too?
PNG may increase file size. If smaller file size is your priority, also consider formats such as JPEG and compare the results.
