PNG to JPG
Convert PNG images to JPG for submission destinations that require JPG or apps that handle photos. Add multiple files, adjust dimensions, quality or background color if needed, check the result and file size, then save files individually or as a ZIP. The defaults are original dimensions and quality 85, with transparent areas filled with a white background.
What you can do
Meet JPG submission requirements
Save as JPG for forms that do not accept PNG. If dimensions are specified, match them in advanced settings.
Check the background color before converting
Transparent areas are filled with white. Change it to a color suitable for your use and check the appearance in the converted image.
How to use
Add images
Select PNG files or add them from a folder.
Check output settings
JPEG is already selected. Open advanced settings only if needed to change dimensions or quality.
Convert & save
Check the resulting images, dimensions and file sizes, then save them. You can also get multiple results as a ZIP.
When this is useful
Send images through a submission form
Attach images originally saved as PNG to application forms that require JPG.
Add a background to a transparent logo
Place the logo as a JPG image to match a document's white background.
What conversion changes & what it keeps
Transparency is not preserved in JPG
JPG cannot contain transparent areas, so they are filled with your chosen background color. Keep using PNG if you want to preserve transparency.
Check text & outlines in the converted image
JPG compression may change the appearance of fine text and outlines. Zoom in to check the image before saving.
Frequently asked questions

Will it always be smaller than the PNG?
