Useful when

Explain a short procedure

Record a short video of clicks or settings, then turn the relevant part into a GIF to explain the procedure.

Repeat one movement

Trim a short scene with motion and save it as a repeatedly playing GIF.

Things to check before saving

Duration, width and fps affect file size

Longer segments, larger widths and finer motion increase the amount of data. Reconsider the segment or width if the file is large.

Colors and smoothness differ from the original video

Images are converted to the GIF format, so color gradation and the appearance of motion may change.
