What conversion preserves
Videos without audio remain silent
If the original WebM contains no audio, it is saved as an MP4 without audio. This does not automatically add audio.
Handling dimensions and duration
The entire video is converted and the original width and height are generally preserved. If either dimension is odd, 1 px may be added at the edge to meet the format’s requirements.
